For me it’s about seeing the progress my students make in my classes that really motivates me, when the light bulb comes on in challenging topics in Math or languages, it is a privilege to have made a difference in their education journey!
I care deeply about learning and philanthropy and ensuring we all achieve our natural potential. I consider myself to be a compassionate, caring, and enthusiastic educator.
It is about seeing my students discover new concepts and theories that challenge and stretch their own understanding of the Sciences, Maths, and Tech and making lessons fun and engaging for all that make me the passionate teacher I am!
It’s important for me that every one of my students can access learning to fulfill their potential and natural talent. It’s about raising awareness and advocating for that the values I hold close to me such as Data and Tech Ethics, Safety & Security, transparency, and fairness in the AI tools we use every day and online on social media.
I am an experienced tutor and qualified teacher and possess over 10 years of experience in the IT industry, as well as the founder of two social good initiatives (The Language School and Girlsandboysintech), and with this experience, I feel I can empower young people in a range of subjects in e.g. Languages, Maths, IT, AI tech.
I want to ensure the same opportunities I was afforded by my family and teachers are provided to young people now and in the future! It is my core values and beliefs in giving back and building social good projects for all, that I wish to pass on to my students as they start out their careers and go on to university.
I really love tutoring and teaching languages, maths, and the sciences and very much look forward to being a part of the DataEthics4All Tutor community.
